PPL Broadband

I just got PPL Broadband at home, and it seems pretty nice. The actual connection is by wireless ethernet to a hotspot on the electric pole outside. They do the authentication by MAC address.

I want to use a router, so I had to get a wireless-ethernet bridge. The one I found is the Linksys Wireless-B Game Adaptor. It passes the MAC address of the router, so that's the number PPL has.

My only complaint is that I am behind a NAT firewall. This makes it difficult to run filesharing software, but I guess that's just too bad.
