Kids should have hobbies. It can keep them out of trouble. Apparently, kite-flying might not be one of those hobbies. In Pakistan, kite-flying competitions often involve trying to bring down an opponent's kite through whatever means necessary. This includes glass shards glued to the string. There have apparently been people injured and even killed.

Kite flying just isn't what it used to be.
