Ridding the world of fraud, one retailer at a time

Today on SlashDot, there was a blurb about Thomas Hawk's bad shopping experience when trying to buy a digital camera. He was actually threatened over the phone by the manager of the camera company with arrest and additional charges to his credit card. Fortunately, with the coverage on SlashDot and www.digg.com, I think this retailer is feeling the pain of a thousand abusive geeks. I hope they go out of business.

Of course, I'm sure that without actual criminal charges, the guy will just start up a business with a different name and the process will have to repeat itself.

It appears that Thomas Hawk won. The owner of priceritephoto.com has apologized and fired the manager in question. Go geeks!
