This was strange enough to kickstart my blogging after the crappy sports week I had. A 15-year-old Canadian girl died in a Quebec hospital days after kissing her boyfriend who had eaten a peanut-butter snack. Ouch.
There are a few comments running through my head about Canadian healthcare and the teenage brain vs. hormones battle, but I'll refrain except to say this: you'd think that she would tell her boyfriend about such a bad allergy, and that he'd know to avoid peanuts around her.
