Success!

The Meade DSI works! I pointed it at the top of a radio tower during the day, then at Jupiter at night. The Jupiter images were recorded, though I haven't posted them anywhere yet. They were a little disappointing, as it seemed I could get a much clearer image with a 25-mm eyepiece than with the camera. I'm hoping that for deep sky objects, the longer exposures will let the camera shine (so to speak).

The camera was bought from OneCall, through amazon.com, for $249. They still have them on clearance for that price.
